Chico, Calif. (April 2012)—Youth spokespeople from throughout the state participated in the California Beef Ambassador Contest. The contest was organized by the California CattleWomen, Inc. (CCW) and California Beef Council (CBC) and hosted at California State University, Chico. The purpose of the contest is to give California youth an opportunity to learn about the importance of the beef industry, hone their public speaking skills and ultimately become youth spokespeople for the beef industry.
Congratulations to Sr. Beef Ambassador, Branson Medeiros and Jr. Ambassador Emilee Morrison who did a great job representing the SLO County CattleWomen Chapter at the state competition.
Congratulations go to Modoc/ Intermountain CattleWomen Sr. Beef Ambassador Katie Stroud and Butte CattleWomen Jr. Beef Ambassador Anne Marie Belden, who will participate at the National American CattleWomen Competition in Sacramento, California in late September 2012.
